When choosing a dance studio there are a lot of options to choose from, but not all dance studios are created equal. Dance classes and schedules are obviously the first thing that you think of when choosing a studio. You look for qualified, experienced instructors, but please remember that there are other factors to consider as well. There are several points listed below that we believe makes Prodigy the best choice for you and your dancer.

  • Prodigy only hires certified, highly trained and experienced teachers who provide a quality dance education.
  • Our teachers are polite, courteous and always go that extra mile to ensure satisfaction in all that they do.
  • All of our teaching assistants are required to complete a teacher assistance course through Prodigy's training program.
  • All of our recreational and competitive classes follow the A.D.A.P.T syllabus manual. Which gives our teachers a strict guidelines to produce quality dance instruction.
  • Prodigy's Artistic director, Jeannelle is also an E.C.E (early childhood educator), and was a head teacher for the Montessori Learning Centre of Pickering for 5 years. With this background and experience, Jeannelle's programming supports the development of the whole child, by integrating educational concepts with dance goals.
  • Small class sizes. We cap our class sizes to ensure students receive adequate support.
  • Our 2600 ft. facility is in a safe, well lit location in an established retail plaza, as opposed to a traditional industrial unit. Conveniently located on Kingston road, a short distance from the 401.
  • Both of our newly built spacious dance areas consist of:
  1. Professionally installed sprung flooring that helps in preventing injuries by reducing fatigue in our dancers joints.
  2. Innovative cushion flooring to give our dancers traction and a bit more spring.
  3. State of the art wireless, Bluetooth, USB and P.E.D capable, portable PA speakers.
  4. Six foot accented, wall mirrors.
  • The common area consists of clean, comfortable seating for the parents, a homework seating area for our dancers, studio access to the change room, two fully equipped bathrooms and an open concept office space.
  • Available FREE WI-FI
  • More than ample parking both in the front and rear of the studio, means never wasting precious time looking / waiting for a spot.
  • Prodigy is a family owned, family run business.
